On November 13th and 14th, 2024, the 2nd International Congress Along the Frontiers: Explorations on the Frontiers. Images, Cities and Heritages was held, bringing together experts and enthusiasts from various fields of interdisciplinary research.
The event took place at the Salón de Grados of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the University of Cádiz and was organized by Professor José Ramón Barros Caneda (Department of Philosophy and Letters, UCA) and Professor María del Castillo García Romero (University of Seville).

With an innovative approach, the congress explored multiple interpretations of the concept of frontiers, analysing their impact on visual culture, urban spaces, and cultural heritage. During the event, the CONVENTUS project was also presented, offering an enriching perspective on heritage and cross-border connections.
