On April 3, 2024, the CONVENTUS team presented the project at the 13th Open Classroom on Cultural Heritage Management, organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Algarve. Present at the event were: the coordination team (Catarina Almeida Marado and Lorena Sancho Querol), the research team (Andreia Fidalgo and Gabriela Vieira), the Lagoa City Council team (Ana Cristina Martins, Sandra Generoso, Ismael Medeiros, Bárbara Santos, and Morgana Horta), and three representatives from the local community team (Virgílio Gonçalves, José Sobral, and Maria Luísa Francisco).

During this Open Classroom, the project was presented along with its origins, working methodology, and initial results, to demonstrate how we are collectively uncovering the surprising history of this building, while also shaping its present in order to create sustainable solutions for both its future and that of the local community.

The topic generated great interest among all the students involved in the activity, as well as among various participants from other organizations who joined us that day, making the discussion very engaging and enriching.
