As part of the Celebrations of the 250th Anniversary of the Municipality's Founding (1773–2023), the presentation of the project "CONVENTUS – New Perspectives on the Building of the Former Convent of Saint Joseph in Lagoa" took place on January 19, 2023, at the São José Convent Cultural Center in Lagoa, with the participation of the lead researchers, Professor Dr. Catarina Almeida Marado and Dr. Lorena Sancho Querol.
