Between 1957 and 1961, the Câmara Municipal de Lagoa developed a project to adapt the cloister of the Convent of S. José into a dance hall. This image illustrates how the space was organized, indicating the entrance, the stage for the orchestra, the arrangement of tables (which are numbered), and the location of the bar. This layout was also confirmed by accounts from the local community.
